Feminism and Women

Feminism needs its final wave after the previous three waves in the last 200 years. The final wave should be focused to transcend the gender and bring about a balance in the feminine and masculine principles of nature in the evolutionary cycle of humanity. Time has come for the rise of womanhood and the feminine for the creation of a matriarchal society which is based on creative and generative action. Such a society will be guided by the forces of love, compassion, nurturing and a unifying and inclusive model of growth as opposed to reductionism.

The feminist movement should now address issues which are broader and which cover the role of women in the society and the world in a holistic manner. It should now become a movement which is inclusive in nature and which should readdress the relationship between man and woman in every sphere of life. The feminist movement should ask questions regarding an alternative model of society where social and economic development takes into consideration the balance that has to be achieved with nature. Progress and development should not be at the cost of destruction of the nature or at the cost of marginalization and deprivation of certain sections of the society.

Women are still marginalized and exploited in many ways around the world and feminism should address these issues aggressively. The feminist movement should advocate and work for the breaking of glass ceiling for women in the existing social, economic, religious and political structures.

But more than that, the feminist movement should show a new path of creative, generative and constructive freedom. The new wave of the feminist movement should transcend the gender and should focus on creating new structures in the society whether it is in the social, economic, religious or political spheres of life. This can be achieved based on the practice of balance between the feminine and masculine principles of nature.

Such structures created should be path-breaking, innovative and revolutionary in nature and they should aim towards creation of a new order based on matriarchy. Here the structures created should usher in a new way of thinking and doing things and they should strive for the forward movement of humanity in a holistic manner. Therefore the final wave of the feminist movement should give birth to a new age where humanity progresses towards understanding and opening up of the many mysteries of nature.

To make a giant leap in this direction it is also important for us to understand what is feminism, what has been the history of the feminist movement, what is the definition of feminism as applicable in different parts of the world, how is religion and the feminist movement associated, what is the rationale of the feminist theory, feminist philosophy and feminist theology and how is the modern, liberal and global feminist movements taking shape?

An in-depth study of the above questions and a re-synthesis based on the practice of balance between the feminine and masculine forces of nature will give genesis to the final wave of feminism. The final wave will revolutionize human thinking and way of doing things.

For free information and advice on topics and issues related to women, visit http://www.rise-of-womanhood.org

http://www.rise-of-womanhood.org

This site envisions the rise of womanhood in true sense that is the rise of the “essence” of womanhood in the physical, mental, intellectual and the spiritual planes. It calls for the beginning of a campaign for the true rise of women in all spheres of life for the restoration of the balance in nature.

Somewhere we have to make a beginning and it’s always better if we make the initiation at our own self. We can strengthen this mass movement for the “rise of womanhood” by bringing about the necessary changes in our own life as felt by our inner self. Further we can transmit the new thinking to others who care to listen. A small step today will definitely lead to a giant leap tomorrow.

Freedom From the Burden of Responsibility

As mothers we are programmed to be responsible. We have children. We have a household. Many times we have work “outside the home” - a business, job, career. We have our extended families. Community work. The list could go on and on. And even with all that, we often take on more, just because perhaps we still have a minute or two on the schedule.

Mothers are not alone in their responsibilities, but there seems to be a different “flavor” to mothers’ responsibilities. It is the flavor that if anyone of them is not going exactly the way it “should”, that we are somehow not good mothers. And what a set-up that is!

I had two different conversations this week about this exact topic and I feel that I received a great deal of illumination about how we, as mothers, can view all that we take on. If you can just consider looking at your life through this different lens, it may give you great relief. And the “lens” is this: You are not responsible for anyone’s life experience but your own. You have children, but you are not responsible for how they feel. You are there to be their guide. Your guidance is in helping them understand their own “guidance system”- their feelings. And one of the biggest ways of guiding them is to pay attention to your own feelings.

I have been know to fix things and people. I can act as a “fixer”. Not only is this an impossible task, but it really doesn’t help in the long term. It gives me some temporary relief, but then there is always the new thing to fix. It is draining and not serving me. The fixing is the need to be responsible for someone else life. The need to feel needed and get validation for that.

Let’s clarify: I think that if your toddler is about to run into traffic that you should get her out asap. This is not a excuse for negligence or abuse. But, it is the idea that you can’t have control, nor should you have control, over another. It is the idea that life unfolds and you focus on how you are feeling about that unfolding. You can assist your children with dealing with life by asking them questions about their feelings “How did that feel when you said that?” “What feelings came over you before when you are shouting?” Help them connect with their own inner guidance and wisdom. When they ask for help, help them. But, fixing stuff just sends the message that they should ignore their guidance. That it means little to them. Feeling responsible for how they feel and how they are doing only takes power away from their ability to tease that out for themselves.

You don’t have to be the “fixer”. How does that feel to you? Is it a relief or does it feel threatening? Does it lift the burden or chip away at your identity? Knowing that you don’t have to fix things can create more options for you to experience life. There is a freedom to knowing that you just need to observe the unfolding and act from a place of love instead of control and fear. But don’t take my word for it. Give it a try.

This week start observing ways in which you try to control what is going on in your life and the lives of others. Do you feel responsible for the results? Do you feel unsatisfied with how things are unfolding? Is there a resistance to what is going on or are you allowing the unfolding? Do you feel that you could handle it if things go in unexpected ways? Could you consider that you are not responsible for everything everyone else is feeling?

Good luck and let me know what happens!

Whose Label Are You Wearing?

(Overcoming Stereotypes)

In this 21st century, health-consciousness has become an important factor. Great emphasis is placed on caloric intake and counting, daily exercising, and maintaining low carbohydrate diets. As a result, label-reading has become a regular occurrence. Labels tell you what’s inside - it distinguishes the corn from the peas. Undoubtedly, the significance of labels is undeniable; how would you know what you are purchasing if it did not have a label? Without the label, all canned goods are universal and look alike - a plain, insignificant, undistinguishable, silver, aluminum tin can.

However, what would happen if the wrong label was applied to the can? Imagine opening a can expecting green beans but instead it contains okra? Or, opening a can expecting sweet potatoes and it has sauerkraut? Certainly, that would not be a good experience. Sadly enough, there are many people walking around unhappy and unfulfilled because someone has wrongfully categorized them or marked them with the wrong label. My pastor, Bishop Eugene Reeves, recanted his childhood experience on how he was labeled as a slow or challenged learner in grade school and how the teachers/counselors said that he would never be able to obtain a “normal” education. But thanks to a Sunday school teacher, who declared that he “could do all things through Christ”; a spark of confidence was ignited within him to excel beyond his imposed limitations. Not only did he receive a normal education, he surpassed it by obtaining an Associate of Applied Science in Computer Science, a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies, a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, a Masters of Arts in Counseling, and a Masters and Doctorate of Divinity. This just goes to show you that not all labels are accurate. Thankfully, positive affirmations can effectuate a swift transition and re-align you with your intended purpose and put you back of track with your destiny.

Labels also provide details of the amount of a specific ingredient that is inside the can such as the sodium or fat content; which I define as the character that gives the main ingredient flavor. A very wise man, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., once had a dream that his children would not be “judged by the color of their skin but the content of their character”. Therefore, knowing the right content is very important! I wrote a poem that echoes Dr. King’s saying entitled, Don’t Judge Me!:

Don’t judge me by the color of my skin

But judge me by the character I have within

Don’t judge me by my cultural dialect

But judge me by my insight and intellect.

Don’t judge me by my physical attributes

But judge me by my charitable contributes.

Please don’t label me incorrectly!

Spend a moment to get to know the real me!

Inappropriately applied labels in some cases have caused irrevocable damage in some cases. There is an illustration about an eagle whose egg was mistaken placed amongst some chicken eggs. The egg hatched at the same time the chicken eggs hatched. The eagle lived amongst the chicken, pecking around on the ground for food, eating what the chickens ate, sleeping where the chickens slept, and clucking like a chicken. One day a flock of eagles flew by the chicken coop. The eagle looked like an eagle but he could not fly because he spent so much time living with the chickens. Ladies, many of you have been robbed of your self-esteem because you were told that you were a chicken even though you were born an eagle. You look like an eagle but low self-esteem keeps you in the chicken coop pecking, preventing you from soaring with the eagles. In order to fly, you have to believe that you can. R. Kelly wrote a very simple yet profound song for Michael “Your Airness” Jordan that declares:

I believe I Can Fly!

I Believe I Can Touch the Sky!

I Think About It Every Night And Day!

Spread My Wings and Fly Away!

I Believe I Can Soar!

I See Me Standing At An Open Door!

I Believe I Can Fly!”

If you form associations with those who are content on ground zero and have no ambition to fly, they will hinder your ability to fly, even though you have “wings to fly”. Once you are labeled a chicken, people will treat your accordingly.

A few times during my grocery shopping ventures, I found some really good bargains in the “Damaged Goods” bin. The “Damage Goods” bin includes items that are “marked down” for a particular reason or another. Some of the canned goods are bent or dented; however, upon taking it home, opening the can, and cooking the contents inside, I found that the dented, marked down items taste just as good as the regular ones. A famous quote warns us not to “judge a book by its cover” and the Bible says in Matthew 7:1 “Do not judge or you will be judged”. Too many people have landed in the “Damaged Good” bin of life due to erroneous judgments and misperceptions based on outer appearance and insinuating circumstances.

In our society, first impressions are usually lasting! But in some instances, first impressions are not always the right impressions. Just because you meet someone who is not your “cup of tea” so to speak, does not mean that there is something wrong with the tea; maybe your taste buds are off! This morning I made myself a cup of tea and put too much sugar in it. It was the same brand of tea that I always enjoyed but too much sugar changed it and made it undesirable to me. My impression of the tea was based exclusively on my opinion and taste, which is also the bases and foundation of stereotypes - opinion and impressions. In fact, the website, About.com, defines stereotypes as “fixed impressions, exaggerated or preconceived ideas about particular social groups, usually based solely on physical appearance.” This confirms why I detest stereotypes because they are oftentimes inaccurate, biased, and unproductive.

Some typical stereotypes that I have heard concerning African American are that we are “lazy”, and that we excel in “athletics” and “dancing” but not in” intellect”. Our men are labeled by their sexual prowess using this quote- “Once you had Black (sexually), you never go back!” This sounds like an addiction to Crack. This may not be an offensive statement to some but it is to me because in some instances it is implied that our men are guided by their sexuality and nothing else. Sadly enough, we as African American’s also discriminate within our own race - prejudices of light-skinned versus dark-skinned. “Regional and geographic discrimination are also prevalent stereotypes formulating gang activities. Stereotypes against “Southeast” versus “Northeast” or “East Coast” versus “West Coast” have caused some prominent musical figures to lose their lives! Senseless labels that do not amount to a “hill of beans”, without validity or merit!

Most stereotypes are based on perceptions and not facts. Ladies, using stereotypes to label a person based on their race, economic or societal status, educational achievement or the lack thereof, physical appearance, or geographic location is outright unethical. If we could somehow peel off our external label (skin) we would find, just as the outer casing of canned goods, that we are all the same - we have the same organs, and the same blood running through our veins. We would also discover that people are people and if we took the time to get to know one another, we would find that there is something awesome and wonderful about each one of us that could enhance our lives individually, collectively, and globally.

If we would respect one another and learn how to celebrate our uniqueness, we would discover the beauty in each of us and glean from it. I am an “original by design” distinct from anyone else God created in the universe - with my thick eyebrows, my wide smile, my long legs, my broad hips, and my Southern drawl. I am one-of-a-kind. My fingerprints are different; my footprints are distinct; I am a much needed commodity. That is why I have decided that I will not march by another person’s drum beat. If the inherent or oral requirement for me to form an association or relationship is for me to lose my identity or compromise my self-respect in order to fall in line with someone else’s drum beat; I choose to remain off-beat and in solitude. On the other hand, if I meet someone and we are singing the same tune but our drum beats are slightly off, then by all means I am willing to “tweak my beat” to ensure that we are marching in sequential order with one another so that we can meet on common ground.

Decree and declare that you will not allow stereotypes to control your life. Affirm that you will not give others the power and authority to determine your worth or your value. You have a specialized identity - just as your fingerprints are original and exclusive, so is your personal characterization. There will never be another me -I cannot be duplicated or clone. When I I leave this earth everything, except my legacy, will exit with me. As Jessie Jackson, president of Operation PUSH, told us to declare some years ago, “I Am Somebody!”

Vickie L Evans is the president of Soaring High Productions. She is a producer, playwright, director, poet, minister, motivational speaker, mother, and an author. Her gospel stage play, “A Change Is Gonna Come” made its national debut in Washington, DC to an overwhelmingly packed-audience. She has penned two books “The Art of Forgiving” a motivational guide that encourage forgiveness as a tool to overcome life’s difficult challenges and “Know Your Worth! Overcoming the Dragon of Low Self-Esteem!”, an empowerment guide for women to celebrate their uniqueness and to gain power though the acknowledgement and discovery of their worth.

The Story of Chanel No 5 - The Lucky Number of Coco Chanel

Chanel No. 5 was one of the greatest contributions to the success of Coco Chanel, and the key source of her fortune. It was created by Ernest Beaux, the outstanding chemist, the son of the court employee in tsarist Russia. Chanel was introduced to Ernest Beaux by the Grand Duke Dimitry of Russia, the friend and lover of Chanel.

Presented by Chanel in 1920, No. 5 was the first perfume of Coco Chanel. It was a mixture of 128 ingredients, blended by the chemist. Ernest Beaux was one of the first to start developing perfumes, using synthetic chemicals to enhance the fragrance of natural ingredients, like jasmine, which was the base of Chanel Number 5.

Ernest Beaux proposed five different formulas - and Chanel chose the last. The new perfume was presented at her spring show on the 5th day of the month. This, indeed, added to the story about the lucky number of Chanel.

Coco Chanel personally designed the bottle of No. 5. The simple little square bottle contrasted to fanciful flagons used for the perfumes at that time.

In the beginning Chanel Number 5 was sprayed in the fitting rooms of Chanel boutiques. The most valued customers were handed out small bottles of the perfume as gifts. This produced an instant effect of scarcity and exclusivity of No. 5. Later Chanel widened the market by giving the production and distribution rights to Pierre and Paul Wertheimer, the owners of the large cosmetic and fragrance company. In return she received the 10% royalty for the sales of her perfumes. Due to the outstanding success of Chanel Number 5, the royalty insured her financial independence until the end of her life.

After the death of Coco Chanel the House of Chanel is in the hands of the Wertheimer family. This is one of the few fashion houses which has its own perfume factory. The House of Chanel refuses to sell its name to any licensee, but keeps the sole control of all the products that bear the luxurious label of Coco Chanel.

Chanel No. 5 is still the world’s bestselling perfume, with sales of about ten million bottles a year. Her Lucky Number has become an identity for thousands of women all over the world.

Women’s Safety Tips - How to Repel Instead of Attract Attackers - Tip #1 - Make Noise

Most women are less than eager to get trained in self-defense but we all need some tips on simple ways to avoid becoming a victim and repel instead of attract attackers. Fortunately, sometimes the simplest things work the best.

Attackers prefer victims go quietly so no one notices what is going on and gets a description of them resulting in their arrest. Now that we know what they are looking for, we can be the opposite. Here are a couple things to note:

  1. Nine out of ten people gasp and hold their breath when startled or scared so attackers have the advantage already
  2. Making noise startles the attacker (turnabout is fair play) and calls attention to your situation

When you gasp and hold your breath, the adrenaline that is automatically produced to deal with stress freezes you quicker and longer, and that’s when the majority of people get hurt. Adrenaline is produced to give you the fight or flight option. It helps you think clearly, run faster and strike harder under stress. In order for it to circulate and help instead of hinder you, you must be breathing. This is where making noise comes in…

Yelling is a great way to make noise and get your adrenaline circulating at the same time because you expel all the air in your lungs and automatically take another breath. Viola! Circulation, adrenaline, strength, speed, clear thought, a startled attacker and everyone looking your direction! Notice I said, “yelling” and not “screaming?” That is because screaming is weak and defensive and yelling is strong and offensive. The three best things to yell: Stop, 911, Back Off!

Other great ways to make noise:

  1. Honking your horn
  2. Sounding your vehicle alarm
  3. Throwing or knocking over something loud (like metal)

Honking your horn is probably not what comes to mind first when you are startled unless you are startled by another driver, right? But just think about how much attention a honked horn gets…and that is the idea after all; even if it is about your personal safety and not about your car.

We know that most people hate the sound of vehicle alarms and rarely even consider that something is being broken into or stolen but again, think how many people are alerted by the sound. You can be sleeping at night with your vehicle in the garage or driveway and sound your alarm if an intruder breaks in.

You know the movies where someone is running from a bad guy through the kitchen of a restaurant, knocking over metal tables and shelves behind them? Not only does this make an instant obstacle course but it makes a heck of a lot of noise in the process. Maybe you are in a store and rake your arm down a shelf pulling products onto the floor to make noise and draw attention.

There is nothing safe or heroic about going quietly with an attacker in the hopes he or she will not hurt you. In fact, it can easily cost you your life. If someone wants to take you against your will, their intention is to hurt you.

Teach your kids this safety tip too. I can’t tell you how difficult it is to get some children to practice yelling in my Safe Kids Class! They have been programmed that yelling gets them in trouble and they need to know it can get them out of trouble as well.

Remember attackers want quiet, uninterrupted time with their victim and the longer you are with them, the more power they have. Make a lot of noise and be more trouble than you’re worth.

And ALWAYS trust your gut feelings to know what to do because sometimes submission is the best option. A good question to ask yourself is, “How is the best way to handle this situation?” Your brain will answer whatever you ask it. Make sure and ask good, empowering questions to get the same kind of answers.

Bonus Safety Tip: Some things we’re taught not to do, like being loud, are the very things attackers take advantage of. And I invite you to be even safer by visiting http://www.PersonalSafetyTrainer.com to grab your sample Safety Quick Tip and the option of receiving a free one each week + bonuses.

Awakening the Feminine

The rise of womanhood is closely attached with awakening the feminine in all of us. The lead in this direction has to come from the womenfolk. Only if you come together as one unified force we can think about the rise of a new era based on the feminine principle of life. You are the natural carrier of the feminine principle. Mother Nature has bestowed women with the feminine energy of love, compassion, nurturing and healing which leads to unification of every aspect of life whether at the individual level or at the larger level of the world. For Awakening the feminine in you, the need is for self-awareness and self-discovery. This has to be done at the physical, mental, intellectual, emotional and spiritual levels.

At the physical level this self-discovery and self-awareness throws an opportunity to delve into areas involving the feminine beauty, care and hygiene. Topics covered can include natural feminine beauty, feminine physique, feminine appearance, feminine face, feminine hairstyle, feminine hands, feminine legs, feminine feet, feminine hygiene etc. At the mental and intellectual level it opens topics related to the feminine psychology, feminine intuition, feminine archetype, feminine genius etc. At the emotional level, it gives an opportunity to understand the feelings and expression of a women especially through the feminine behavior, feminine transformation, feminine essence, feminine charms, feminine grace, feminine symbols, feminine tattoos etc. At the spiritual level the self-discovery and self-awareness opens up the heart and soul of the women in terms of the feminine principle, voice of the feminine spirit, divine feminine etc.

Awakening the feminine: The need

But before that It is important to understand why we require awakening the feminine in us. It is an established scientific fact that both the male and the female gender are bestowed with the masculine and the feminine principles. The masculine principle acts via the reptilian brain present in us and it is the part of our brain or the subconscious part of our mind which controls the flight or fight reactions and all the primitive forces like anger, ego, fear, jealousy, hatred, violence and selfish action.

These forces are predominately visible in men as they are stereotyped from their childhood to express this pattern of behavior and they are forced consciously and subconsciously by the society to suppress the feminine principle in every way that is possible. Ever thought why it is so difficult for men to even have a good cry to let up their pent up emotions? As you can see this kind of suppression by the society has led to a situation where men move in the society by predominately asserting a pattern of behavior totally based on their reptilian brain.

This has led to the creation of a patriarchal society based on power and control. In this setup there is a total suppression of the feminine principle as well as the feminine gender itself. We need to understand that the time of evolution has come. It is now very much important for us especially men to become self-aware and understand the consequences of their action primarily based on the masculine principle. The need is for awakening the feminine.

Awakening the feminine: Evolution of the masculine and feminine principles

If you look at the early human evolution, nature had bestowed in men the masculine principle in larger proportions by default as that is seen in most of the animal kingdom. Those times demanded that kind of excessive masculine force because of the circumstances that prevailed. It was a time when humanity was coping with a harsh world where quick action and decisions had to be taken for survival. Either you were the hunter or you became the hunted.

But as evolution has taken place over the years, humanity has become highly distinctive from the rest of the animal kingdom and it is the predominant species on earth with a capacity to think, to feel and then act. It is a species with far greater source of intelligence that includes the mental, emotional, intellectual and spiritual intelligence. No other species on earth has undergone such a rapid and fast paced evolutionary change.

The point is that no more we require the dominant force of the masculine principle as that we had required in the early days of evolution. The reason for it is simple. Humanity has already transcended the survival mode and it is now in a phase where it is exploring the truths and secrets of nature for its further development and progress. Nature’s truth and secrets cannot be understood or revealed with a fast phased reactionary approach which is for selfish needs.

It needs a deeper level of understanding and connect with the universe to understand nature’s will, to flow with it and to be one with it. Once that happens, nature will reveal so much of the mysteries which it now withholds from us or may be which we are not able to listen even when nature wants to communicate it to us. To be in sync with nature we need awakening the feminine which shall bring a balance of the masculine and feminine principles in all of us.

Therefore it’s time to move ahead in an evolutionary path and discard what we don’t need anymore and embrace what we need exactly the way species evolve in their natural course. For this to happen first we need to have the awareness and understanding of the prevailing conditions and situation.

Awakening the feminine: The changes that are “slow”

Humanity has to understand the truth that now things are different. Today the changes that are taking place in the environment are not fast phased changes but slow and subtle changes affecting all of us in the long run rather than the immediate time frame. One of the principle reasons for the stagnation and chaos that we see around the world is because of this phenomenon of not recognizing the slow pattern of change that happens around us today. This is so different from the circumstances and environment of our early evolution when we had to use more of our masculine reptilian brain for coping in the fast phased settings of day to day survival.

Today we need to think a lot before jumping into ruthless action. We need to think about how our actions are going to affect us, our neighbors, the society, the world and the future of the world. For this kind of long term and inclusive thinking we need awakening the feminine and a balance between the masculine and feminine principles of nature.

But the problem is that we still continue to live on with the masculine principle as the primary force and that is getting manifested in the society as a behavioral pattern which is exploitative, manipulative, selfish and self-destructive in nature. This is directly manifesting in the attitude that we are projecting in the society and the world today.

Awakening the feminine: Women need to take the lead

We need course correction to avoid a complete collapse of human civilization. For this women need to take the lead in creation and establishment of a new world order which is more balanced and in sync with nature. It needs awakening the feminine which is so much natural to women and which can be transmitted through them easily to the entire humanity for a balance that is so much required.

Therefore as I said in the beginning Awakening the feminine requires a thorough understanding of the feminine and its manifestations in the physical, mental, intellectual, emotional and spiritual planes.

How to Wear Sexy Lingerie to Keep the Romance Alive in Your Marriage

You know I don’t have a special person in my life right now but if I was married we all know that I would love for my wife to have some sexy lingerie that she would want to be worn just for me. I’m not talking about just a typical nightie but something special that would turn my eyeballs inside and out. These are now the holiday seasons and during this time would want to focus your emphasis on lingerie towards a festive and joyful as well as sexy attitude. When the weather is freezing outside and you want to create an atmosphere that is burning hot you can think of an idea such as dressing up as Santa Claus with your special lady dressed up as Mrs. Clause yet wearing a very sexy Christmas night gown in white and red with some very sexy knee-high fur boots (talk about an overactive Christmas imagination!!), or you can opt to dress up like a snowflakes in in a strapless for many dressed in a red ribbon lace on the back. I don’t know about you but I hate the cold, but if my lady were dressed up in this outfit I wouldn’t mind throwing snowballs with her outside for driving her up when we get indoors. In any relationship keeping the romance going is a very important part, and nothing helps this more than wearing sexy lingerie outfit.

The only problem with a lot of sexy lingerie stores is that it can be quite expensive on the wallet, so with this in mind you must always plan ahead of time how much you’ll spend on a sexy outfit especially in this current economic atmosphere. Now the problem with shopping for sexy lingerie at stores is that these lingerie stores usually have a high overhead and expenses to take on and they passed this overhead and expenses over on to you the consumer. Even though you can purchase your lingerie right on the spot this still will put a very big dent in your wallet. You can buy your lingerie outside or you can do what so many others have started to do during the recession and that is shop online for sexy lingerie. The advantage to shopping online for your sexy lingerie is that the online lingerie website doesn’t really have to pay for any more expenses but a few workers and some storage space. Now all they need is a good-looking website and that is basically what you see when you are shopping online. When you are shopping online for sexy lingerie you have the advantage of doing comparison shopping without actually having to use gas up in your car to travel from store to store. It’s all done by the click of a mouse. Now whether you are shopping for sexy high heels, sexy costumes, sexy nightgowns or any other kind of sexy lingerie you can do this all online with the click of a mouse and your handy credit card ready to make the order. It can’t get easier than that can it?

Now I don’t know about you but for me, what always gets my attention, is a lady dressed in high heels. Most people prefer 3 to 4 inch heels but for me what usually gets my attention are the extremes, and nothing says extreme to me more than a lady walking by and 6 to 7 inch high heels. These high heel shoes usually accentuate the calves of anyone and really give their legs that eye-popping, attention-getting look. I just hope when I get married my wife will know what she’s doing as far as getting the right lingerie to keep the romance going in our marriage.

I like writing about relationships and what keeps them going strong and sexy lingerie are a very important part of keeping a marriage strong.

Women Empowerment

Women empowerment is understood as a very narrow term in today’s world. Women’s empowerment should focus on the holistic manifestation of womanhood and the feminine with a goal to bring a perfect balance between the masculine and the feminine forces of the nature irrespective of gender. Thus women’s empowerment should transcend the gender and reach the whole of humanity to establish a matriarchal society based on creative and generative action. Such a social order should be based on the principles of love, compassion, nurturing and with a purpose of unifying the forces of nature.

For this to happen in reality the primary requirement is the social, economic, religious and political empowerment of women. Women have to come out of their homes and actively participate in reshaping the society. When women are empowered in all spheres of life with an equal opportunity and when she has the choice and opportunity to lead a publicly active life only then we can talk about a foundation being created for a collective change in the society.

We need to understand that the more economically, socially, religiously and politically empowered the women becomes, the more confident she becomes in articulating her thoughts and more productive she becomes in her actions. This results in her getting involved in taking decisions for her family, the society, the country and the world along with her counterparts that is men.

But this is not the reality as we see today. Today’s structures are still patriarchal in nature which is based on power and control. In this kind of setup there is a visible or invisible glass ceiling for women. Women cannot move up the ladder beyond a point. That’s why all the major power structures in all walks of life are still controlled by men. The consequences of these lop-sided male dominated structures are enormous to see. Womanhood and the whole of the feminine gender are marginalized in this kind of setup. Further these patriarchal structures are responsible for the division of the society and they promote highly self-oriented materialistic structures based on manipulations and never ending exploitation of natural resources.

Women empowerment in all walks of life shall bring the necessary balance that is required in nature. It will help in promoting structures which are more inclusive, progressive, creative, constructive and generative in nature and which are in sync with nature.

There is a long way still to go before we see Women empowerment become a reality. Economic empowerment of women is the first step towards this direction. The more the woman becomes economically empowered, the more progressive she becomes in the other spheres of life.

Therefore it is imperative to study and analyze the empowerment of women around the world and find out ways towards achieving total women empowerment in every sphere of life.
